Paul’s Bio

Paul Parlane is a seasoned golf professional and coach with a career spanning over three decades. Growing up in Te Awamutu, New Zealand, Paul honed his skills playing for the Waikato team before embarking on his professional journey.

Paul's career began at the Te Awamutu Golf Club, progressing to Hamilton, and then becoming the head professional at Millbrook Resort in Arrowtown, where he worked alongside his mentor John Griffin. In the late 1990s, Paul ventured to the United States to pursue professional golf, competing on various tours including the Canadian Tour.

Transitioning to coaching in the early 2000s, Paul settled in Los Angeles and quickly established himself as a sought-after instructor. At the prestigious Mountain Gate Country Club, he coached high-profile figures such as Sylvester Stallone, Pete Sampras, and David Beckham. His expertise also attracted champion golfers like Mark O'Meara, David Frost, Phil Tataurangi, and Steve Alker.

Throughout his career, Paul has achieved success as a player, winning professional tournaments on various tours, including a recent victory at the Perry Parker Invitational at Pebble Beach 2021

In 2022, Paul returned to New Zealand, establishing a thriving teaching business in downtown Auckland. His diverse clientele ranges from beginners to seasoned executives and ambitious players looking to elevate their game.

With his extensive experience, Paul excels at tailoring his approach to each client's needs, priding himself on effective communication and helping golfers understand the nuances of their game.
